Beef Bourguignon, Coq au vin or delicious curries, the casserole -or cocotte- is the ideal partner for all (one-pot) dishes that are best after hours of simmering on a low burner or in the oven. The cast aluminum lid is perfect for this, but the casserole can also be combined with the paella pan|cover. This creates an ideal combination for the oven, AGA or even as a “Dutch oven” in a wood stove or on the hot coals.
